First Nations Acknowledgment

First Nations have long known the significance of our interdependent relationship with nature.

We respectfully acknowledge the Lake County Forest Preserves and land in which we practice as ancestral homelands of the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi nations and other Native Peoples.
